1874 Northwich 2 - 0 Widnes
Crowd: 281
1874 Northwich grabbed their first win in five games courtesy of first-half goals from defenders Matt Woolley and Jack Marrow. Poor results have seen 1874 Northwich slip out of the play-offs in recent weeks but this win has moved them up to sixth just one point and one place off the fifth and final play-off spot. Since beating Ramsbottom two weeks ago Widnes have now lost three in a row and remain bottom of the table, six points from safety. Up next for 1874 Northwich is a tough trip to third placed Workington, while Widnes host play-off chasing Kidsgrove Athletic.
