A lingerie fitting business in Nottinghamshire has gone viral after showing the world how to put on a bra correctly. The Tik Tok video, posted by the local business Janice Rose Lingerie, has been viewed more than 7.1 million times at the time of writing.
The 13 seconds long clip features Kelly Edwards, a bra fitter at Janice Rose Lingerie in Sutton-on-Trent, showing the correct way of putting a bra. She begins by giving three wrong ways, followed by her saying "no, no, no" before revealing the winning method.
She then slips her arms into the straps while the bra is undone before fastening behind her back. The independent lingerie fitter located in Sutton-on-Trent, near Newark, went on to explain to Nottinghamshire Live that this method helps to "prolong the life of the bra".

Janice Holmes, founder of Janice Rose Lingerie, said: "Our TikTok video shows a back fastening bra, which should be fastened at the back to stop the stretching of the underband. This is in line with the manufacturer’s instructions and designed to help prolong the life of the bra.
“There are other styles of bras without back fasteners which have to be pulled over the head. These fabrics are designed to be pulled and stretched, but the breast support will not be as great."
The video has been reshared thousands of times and received more than 6,000 comments. However, not all viewers agreed with Kelly Edwards, with willow commenting: "Janice, I am physically incapable of doing it the last way, so it’s a no no no from me."
Eggoise added: "I don’t have the mental skills to clip at the back," while Mesha Raw said: "What’s wrong with the twist method .. the over the head and stepping in are unhinged ..but the twist method perfection."
