Police have issued an appeal over a 'wanted man' who officers want to speak to in connection with a serious assault. A victim attacked in Victoria Square, Worksop, was left with a serious injury.
The incident was reported at around 3.30am on February 12. Police said the victim was taken to hospital by a passer-by, and he is now being treated at Doncaster Royal Infirmary.
Detectives now want to speak to 43-year-old Craig Rose, pictured, in relation to the incident. Officers have warmed members of the public not to approach Mr Rose.
Detective Inspector Luke Todd, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “I would urge people to call police immediately if you see this man as he is wanted in connection with a very serious offence.
"We are keen to track down Rose as soon as possible and would appreciate the help of the public. If you see him, please do not approach him but call 999 immediately.
“If you have any information about his whereabouts please call Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident 107 of 12 February 2023, or alternatively you can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
