Nottingham vegan burger business with rave reviews joining brewery to create taproom

A Nottingham vegan food company has announced it will join Liquid Light brewery to create Nottingham's first vegan taproom experience. The taproom is based at Unit 9 Alfred Street in Sneinton, just a few minutes from the market square.

The popular vegan business, Mocky-D, has been serving burgers and hotdogs in its distinctive van for five years. The business is the creation of Ben Lord and Clare Morrissey who handmake the burgers using their own top-secret recipe. Their menu has also included hot dogs and limited edition burgers infused with CBD.

They met Thom Stone from Liquid Light at a craft food event when they were both starting out. As both businesses are vegan, they share a similar ethos which formed the basis for the collaboration.
