A Nottingham pork pie factory is operating as normal after a fire broke out this morning, its owners have said. Three fire engines were in attendance at Tottle Bakery, Dunsil Drive, where the blaze started on the ground floor of the building at 7.47am on Friday, April 21.
The Compleat Food Group, which operates Tottle Bakery, said the site was operating as normal after a small fire in one of the ovens. It said no-one was injured in the blaze.
A spokesperson said: “The Fire Brigade was called as a safety precaution due to a small fire in one of our ovens at our Tottle Bakery site this morning. Nobody was injured and the site is operating as normal.”

Appliances from London Road and West Bridgford fire stations attended the fire and left the scene at around 9.30pm. Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service said the fire was located in an industrial oven in the ground floor of the building.
"We are attending an industrial fire at Pork Farms off Queens Drive," said a spokeswoman at the time. "It is a two-floor building, which is 100m by 100m.
"The fire is located in the bottom floor in an industrial oven. Two crews from London Road and one appliance from West Bridgford are at the scene."
"It doesn't look like it will be getting any worse, this will be the peak of it before firefighters start scaling it back."
