Nottingham Motorpoint Arena issues update for Peter Kay fans ahead of ticket release

Top tips have been released by Nottingham Motorpoint Arena ahead of Peter Kay tickets going on general sale here. The helpful advice for potential purchasers was published to the organisation's Facebook Page shortly after 3pm on Friday, November 11, due to the "phenomenal" demand for tickets.

Earlier this week fans struggled to buy tickets in an early release for the tour, which will be coming to the Nottingham on Friday, July 14 and Saturday, July 15 2023. The post stated: "The demand for Peter Kay tickets is phenomenal and unfortunately, we do not anticipate that everyone trying to book tickets for the two dates at our venue will be successful."

They ask fans to read their tips for the best chance of securing tickets. These tips include creating an account, how to purchase tickets, and further tips for those with accessibility requirements.

The post stated: "If you do not have a Motorpoint Arena account, create one now as you will need an account to purchase tickets. We strongly recommend doing this today.

"If you have an account, test your account log in and password today. You should use our website to book tickets, do not call our box office unless you have an accessibility requirement.

"Do not attend the venue to book tickets. Our box office counter will be closed."

Due to the "huge anticipated demand" for tickets, the arena will be implementing a queue system on the website. This will enable to help people secure tickets as quick as possible, and customers are asked to be patient and not to leave the queue whilst they wait for their turn.

The post also stated: "We expect tickets to sell very quickly. If tickets are showing as sold out, refresh the page as tickets may fall our of other customer's baskets."

Those with accessibility requirements should call the box office to book their tickets, which can be done from 10am on Saturday, November 12.

Staff members will be answering calls as quickly as possible but ask customers to bear with them in advance as they do expect demand to be "extremely high."

Tickets for the upcoming tour start at £35, not including the booking fee. They will be going on general sale on Saturday, November 12 at 10am here.
