A burglar armed with a knife woke up a Nottingham man in the early hours of the morning and stole items including an electric scooter from his bedroom. Nottinghamshire Police says the burglar entered the property at around 1.40am on Tuesday (November 29).
It happened on All Saints' Street and items taken included cash, a black electric scooter and a pair of trainers. When the resident was awoken, police say he was threatened with the knife before he ran from his bedroom and up a communal set of stairs.
The victim returned later to find that his items had been taken. The suspect is described as being in his early 20s and it is believed he was wearing a black hoodie.

Detective Sergeant Steve Dalby, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: "This was a frightening experience for the victim, and we are determined to track down the individual responsible as quickly as possible. Although the incident took place in the early hours, it is close to the city centre and people may have been in the area and witnessed something which didn't look right.
"It is really important that anyone who saw anything suspicious, or has CCTV or dash-cam footage which they think could be helpful for our investigation, gets in touch with officers immediately. The force has two dedicated burglary teams working around the clock because we know the impact this sort of crime has on victims."
People with any information on the incident are being asked to call police on 101, quoting incident number 35 of November 29. Crimestoppers can also be contacted anonymously on 0800 555111.
