The return of Nottingham Forest to the top flight of English football has been a rollercoaster ride, but their destiny remains their own to control with eight games left to save themselves from relegation.
Easier said than done, of course, when they are on the back of a nine-match winless run and have just dropped into the relegation zone for the first time since early January.
And up this weekend is a tricky assignment against a resurgent Manchester United side who have already beaten Forest three times this season in league and cup.
However, United have proven themselves still fallible despite an upturn in fortunes under Erik ten Hag. As recently as Thursday, they surrendered a two-goal lead to draw with Sevilla at Old Trafford in the Europa League.

They also have issues with injuries. Having already lost striker Marcus Rashford, United are now sweating on two more key players for the trip to the City Ground after central defenders Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez were forced off during the Sevilla draw.

The match begins at 4.30pm on Sunday at the City Ground.

Yes - the teatime kick-off time is to accommodate the Sky Sports cameras at the City Ground. The broadcast is due to start at 4pm and will be shown on the Main Event and Premier League channels. All you need is to be a Sky subscriber to access the action. The Forest vs United game will also be broadcast internationally - and you can find out where it is being shown here .
Sky Sports will upload key moments from the game to their YouTube channel and website shortly after the final whistle. BBC One will air highlights of the game during Match of the Day II from 10.30pm.
