Nottingham Forest target Morgan Gibbs-White says he has a “big season ahead” amid speculation about his future.
After spending last term on loan at Sheffield United, the attacking midfielder has returned to parent club Wolverhampton Wanderers and is currently on a training camp in Spain ahead of the upcoming campaign. But a number of teams are keen to secure his services, including the Reds.
Forest retain a strong interest in Gibbs-White as boss Steve Cooper puts a squad together ready for the Premier League, but there is some serious competition for his signature. Everton have reportedly not been put off by seeing an opening bid rejected, while Crystal Palace and Southampton have also been linked.

The England Under-21 international impressed during his time with the Blades, netting 12 goals and weighing in with 10 assists from 37 appearances. And the man himself says he is eager to build on that when the serious action begins again.
Asked about his main focus over the coming weeks and months, Gibbs-White told Wolves TV: “My main focus is just getting back fit, trying to prove to the manager (Bruno Lage) why I should be here and why I want to play every week. I want to keep that momentum going that I had last year, because I feel like it’s going to be a big season ahead for me personally. I just want to keep that momentum into this season.”
The Daily Mail have claimed Everton offered Wolves £25m for the 22-year-old. However, a price tag closer to £30m has previously been mooted.
Gibbs-White has two years left to run on his current deal at Molineux. He has been offered fresh terms, but has not yet put pen to paper.
The Reds will hope Cooper’s relationship with the player can count for something in the battle to sign him. The pair know each other from working together at Swansea City and with England Under-17s.
