Leicester City fans were in a buoyant mood after securing their first win of the season thanks to an empathic 4-0 triumph over Nottingham Forest at the King Power Stadium.
It was branded a must-win for both sides but unfortunately for Steve Cooper and Co they were in for for a tough night as the Foxes leapfrogged the Reds at the bottom of the Premier League table. James Maddison scored the opening goal on 25 minutes after seeing his effort deflected.
Harvey Barnes then doubled his side's advantage, just two minutes later, before Maddison made it 3-0 before half-time. Patson Daka's goal and fourth of the night was the icing on the cake for Brendan Rodgers's men.
