Nottingham Forest provide Wembley ticket update amid 'record sales' for play-offs final

Nottingham Forest fans have been snapping up their seats at Wembley - with record sales on the first morning of tickets being available.

Steve Cooper’s Reds will face Huddersfield Town under the famous arch a week on Sunday (May 29), with promotion to the Premier League at stake. And, just as they have been all season, they will be backed in huge numbers.

Forest have been allocated 36,475 general admission tickets at the West End of Wembley Stadium. As of lunchtime today, more than 17,500 had already been sold.

Season card holders got their chance to purchase a spot from 9am this morning, through online sales. The club say there were “record sales” during the first hour as supporters rushed to secure their place.

From 2pm this afternoon, season card holders will be able to purchase tickets over the phone. And on Sunday, at 10am, they will be able to buy them in-person at the club’s ticket office.

On Monday, at 9am, the process will open to NFFC members. That will be followed by fans with a booking history of at least three fixtures during this season, from noon that day.

From noon next Tuesday, supporters with a booking history of at least one match during this season will be able to buy tickets. And from noon next Wednesday, they will be available to anyone with a Forest booking history.

Cooper’s side saw off Sheffield United to progress to the Championship play-offs final and put them 90 minutes away from ending their 23-year top-flight exile. They triumphed on penalties on a dramatic night at the City Ground on Tuesday.
