Former Nottingham Forest midfielder Philip Zinckernagel could be on the move again this summer, with Turkish side Trabzonspor chasing the player.
The 28-year-old was a key member of Steve Cooper ’s side who won promotion to the Premier League via the play-offs at the end of the 2021/22 season. He returned to parent club Watford the following summer before completing a permanent move to Olympiacos.
The transfer saw him link up with Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis, who also owns the Greek club. But his time in Greece didn’t go as he would have hoped, with a loan move to Standard Liege in Belgium following just two months later.
