Nottingham Forest are going to let one of their young prospects head out on loan in the January transfer window amid a flurry of interest from other clubs, it has been reported.
The club have decided that Ateef Konate will be loaned out in order to get more game time. Stoke City and Bristol City are 'interested' in making a deal happen, according to The Athletic's David Ornstein.
Other Championship clubs are also interested in signing the 21-year-old on a temporary basis, while there are offers on the table from clubs in League One. Danish outfit OB Odense are also said to have put in an offer this month.

Konate, who plays as an attacking midfielder, has made six appearances for the Reds U21's side in Premier League 2, scoring five goals and assisting another. He joined from La Havre in 2020 and made his senior debut for Forest in the League Cup in August 2021, playing the full 90 minutes in the 2-1 first round win over Bradford City.
The Frenchman played another 90 minutes in the 4-0 defeat to Wolves in the next round of the competition, before making his Championship bow against Barnsley last January. He has not played for the first team since then.
