Nottingham Forest in Steve Cooper fight as 'at least two clubs' target manager

Nottingham Forest are reportedly "facing a fight" to keep their manager Steve Cooper ahead of next season.

Cooper has built a strong reputation in football, as a coach for England's youth teams, before landing the job at Swansea City where he caught the eye. Since arriving at the City Ground, the 43-year-old has guided the Reds to promotion and continues to show why he is the right man for the club at Premier League level.

But all of that may come at a cost, according to the Daily Mail, who report Cooper is a target for rival clubs. A number of managerial roles look set to become available at the end of the season.

Head coach positions at Tottenham, Chelsea, West Ham, Southampton and Leeds could all change heading into the 2023/24 season. It is being claimed that Cooper is under consideration by "at least two clubs".

Cooper signed a new contract earlier this season, committing his future to the club until 2025.
