The scale of Nottingham Forest’s recruitment has been criticised once again.
The Reds have signed almost 30 players since winning promotion to the Premier League via the Championship play-offs last season.
The most high-profile arrivals to the City Ground include Jesse Lingard, following his exit from Manchester United, Dean Henderson on loan from the Old Trafford club and Keylor Navas on loan from PSG, while Morgan Gibbs-White was their most expensive transfer from Wolves in a £25million deal which could rise above £40m with add-ons.

Manager Steve Cooper has faced a challenge getting so many new players to gel, but he has done a great job so far and Forest have a good chance of survival in the top-flight, being two points above the relegation zone with 11 games left to play.
But it has not stopped their transfer policy being criticised - and the latest person to do so is former Wolves man Dave Edwards, ahead of the two sides playing each other at the City Ground in the Premier League on Saturday.
“I don’t agree with how Forest recruited last summer after promotion, with the massive overhaul of players, it’s not sustainable,” he told the Express & Star.
“They struggled to gel but after the World Cup break they seemed to have some momentum. It has mainly been their home form that has made the difference. Steve Cooper has some good players there.”
