Highly-rated Nottingham Forest youngster Dale Taylor has completed a loan move to Burton Albion.
The forward will spend the second half of the campaign with the League One outfit. The move offers an invaluable chance for the teenager to get minutes in men’s football under his belt as he continues his development.
Taylor is held in great esteem at the City Ground, having made the switch from Linfield in 2020, and is being tipped for a bright future. He has already represented Northern Ireland at senior level and captained his country with the Under-17s.

The 19-year-old has impressed for the Reds’ Under-21s and was a key player for the Under-18s as they reached the FA Youth Cup final last term. That form saw him rewarded with a new three-year contract in the summer.
Earlier this season, Taylor was then handed his first-team debut for Forest, coming off the bench in the 3-0 Carabao Cup win at Grimsby Town. He then got a glimpse of a Premier League matchday when he was included on the bench for the victory over Crystal Palace before the World Cup break.
Last season, the teenager travelled with Steve Cooper’s squad when they took on Fulham at Craven Cottage, and he was an unused substitute in the 5-1 thrashing of Swansea City a few days later.
Cooper said of Taylor after the game against the Cottagers: “It was good experience for him. It was an opportunity to get a young player involved; we will always do that when we can. “Dale is still very much in the early stages of his development as a full-time player. There’s always a possibility for young players. We’ll never have any hesitation in including them, we quite like it really.”
At the time of signing his new contract with the club, Taylor said: "It’s an unbelievable feeling to sign for another three years with this massive football club and I can’t wait to see what these next three years hold for me."
