Nottingham Forest have confirmed Jayden Richardson's departure from the club.
The 21-year-old defender has left the City Ground to join SPL side Aberdeen. The Reds confirmed his exit in a statement on Monday night. It read: "Nottingham Forest can confirm that defender Jayden Richardson has joined Scottish Premiership side Aberdeen on a permanent deal.
"Richardson, who signed a professional contract with the club back in April 2019, made his first team debut for The Reds against Bradford City in the first round of the Carabao Cup last season.

"The full-back also made two appearances in the Championship last season, coming off the bench against Middlesbrough and Huddersfield Town in September.
"The 21-year-old moved on loan to Notts County in December and earned a place in the Vanarama National League Team of the Season after making a total of 25 appearances for The Magpies.
"The club would like to thank Jayden for his service and wish him all the very best for the future."
Richardson made two league appearances for Forest as a sub last season before spending the second half of the campaign on loan at Notts County.
