Bid 'submitted'
Nottingham Forest have reportedly submitted a bid for Huddersfield Town midfielder Lewis O’Brien as Steve Cooper looks to further add to his squad.
The Reds have added six new faces to their squad over the summer window so far. Taiwo Awoniyi, Dean Henderson and Neco Williams are among the new recruits at the City Ground.
It now seems that the club could be closing in on their seventh signing. The Telegraph claim that a move for O’Brien is ‘close’ after Forest submitted a £10 million bid for the midfielder this week.

Injury blow
Nottingham Forest have been dealt an injury blow as they build up to the Premier League season.
Midfielder Ryan Yates faces a month on the sidelines after suffering a knee injury during the Reds’ training camp in Spain last week. It means the Nigel Doughty Academy graduate is likely to miss the start of the campaign, which begins with a trip to Newcastle United on August 6.
Burton player ratings
Steve Cook’s header secured a 1-0 win for Nottingham Forest in their second pre-season friendly of the summer.
The Reds beat Burton Albion at the Pirelli Stadium as they continued their build-up to the Premier League campaign. And there was plenty for boss Steve Cooper to be pleased with.
Man United told James Garner 'wish'
Manchester United fans have sent Erik ten Hag a message over James Garner.
Garner was not in the United squad for their pre-season friendly against Liverpool in Bangkok on Tuesday. His omission prompted Nottingham Forest fans to encourage the young midfielder to return to the City Ground for the new season , having helped them win promotion from the Championship during the last campaign.
