A flurry of bank holidays are on their way in the UK and that means extra days off for many workers. While that's great news for those looking to enjoy the extra free time, it also means that some supermarket opening times, as well as bin collection day changes are also on the way.
Across Nottingham city and county there are changes afoot. Here's what is happening in your area.
Rushcliffe Borough Council
Some Easter bin collections in the Rushcliffe area will move. All grey, blue and green bin collections that would usually be collected on Monday, April 10, will instead be collected two days earlier on Saturday April 8.
Usual collection day Friday: Collection as normal on Good Friday, April 7.
Usual collection day Monday: Bins will be collected on Saturday, April 8.

Broxtowe Borough Council
There are a few changes to bin collection days for residents in the Broxtowe Borough Council area. According to the council's website, collection will be as usual on Good Friday, April 7, but there will be alterations to the days that follow in line with the information below.

Newark and Sherwood District Council
There will be no changes to bin collection days for residents in the Newark and Sherwood district. The council advises residents to put their bins out as usual.
Nottingham City Council
Residents in Nottingham City Council locations will have their bins collected as normal on Good Friday, April 7. However, there is a shift in collection for Easter Monday. Anyone who would normally have had their bin collected on Easter Monday will have their collection moved to Saturday, April 8, instead.

Gedling Borough Council
Gelding is another area where bins will still be collected as normal on Good Friday, April 7. However, the authority is reminding residents to make sure they put their bins out early - collections start from 6am.
Residents in the area whose bin is usually collected on a Monday will see alterations to the schedule for Bank Holiday Monday, April 10. All normal Monday collections will move to Saturday, April 8, again from 6am.
Mansfield District Council
Collection teams for Mansfield District Council will be working as normal over the Easter weekend. Collection crews will be out collecting on both Good Friday, April 7, and Easter Monday, April 10.
Ashfield District Council
Ashfield residents won't see too much of a change to their bin collection schedule. The council says that the only change in Ashfield is that bins scheduled to be collected on Monday, April 10, will now be collected on Saturday, April 8.
Bassetlaw Borough Council
There will be no changes to bin collection in Bassetlaw over the Easter holiday weekend.
