Nottingham dealer sentenced after man's drug-related death

A dealer has been sentenced after a man's drug-related death. Nicholas Bamford, 31, was arrested following the sudden death of Radford man Graham Evans.

A post mortem found the toxic effect of Black Mamba led to the 61-year-old suffering a cardiac arrest inside a flat in Bentinck Road, Hyson Green, on June 18, 2020. He died at Nottingham City Hospital four days later.

Witnesses told police Bamford had supplied the psychoactive drug to Mr Evans as a free sample, telling him it was “a lot better than weed”. It was claimed Mr Evans then went inside the flat to drink cider with two friends and collapsed shortly after taking the quantity of Mamba.
