In response to the post, one person wrote: "What a beautiful lady. So sorry for your loss." Another said: "Sorry for your loss, Vicky. My condolences to you all."
And a third added: ''I'm so sorry, Vicky. Sending lots of love to you and family." Vicky played Detective Inspector Kate Fleming on Line of Duty. Her latest show, Without Sin, which has been filmed across the city, will air on ITVX on December 29.
Earlier this month, Vicky opened up about filming the four-part psychological thriller in Nottingham. Without Sin - who also features This is England actor Johnny Harris - tells the story of the relationship which develops between a grieving mother, played by Vicky, and the man she believes murdered her teenage daughter.
Without Sin is filled with instantly recognisable Nottingham landmarks such as Victoria Centre Market, Cornerhouse and Langtrys pub. Vicky said Nottingham is more than capable of producing "high-end television dramas".
