In 2001, rugby league star John Hopoate stuck his fingers up three players' bums whilst playing for Wests Tigers, and he holds the record for the most time spent suspended in rugby league - 45 weeks.
Despite the incident occurring more than 20 years ago, the cringe-worthy moment has been given a new lease of life on TikTok, picking up more than 900,000 views in just six days.
The video involves a National Rugby League panel 'NRL On Nine' failing to contain their laughter at the shocking Hopoate moment. A panelist exclaims at the end "he's got the shirts with the finger on it!". They were comparing the moment with Corey Norman's antics recently in the Super League , where he got into a spot of trouble for a similar offence.

Now, you must be wondering what this is all about, and where 'shirts' come into it. Well, prepare yourself for one of the weirdest stories you're likely to hear.
Hopoate was playing for Wests Tigers against North Queensland Cowboys back in 2001. In a moment, or rather, moments of madness - he stuck his finger up three players' bums, and subsequently received a whopping 12-week ban.
Hopoate has been dubbed the NRL's 'most banned player of all time', with his time in suspension equating to 45 weeks in total. The player has absolutely no shame about what he did that day, and according to The Daily Mail Australia, he has even printed T-shirts out which are dedicated to his famous moment. They read "10 years and counting".
"The NRL suspended me but I took the game global. They should've paid me. People in India knew who I was: The finger man'," said Hopoate.
"I was just raising awareness for prostate cancer."
This certainly wasn't uncharacteristic for Hopoate, with his career being littered with controversies and crazy moments. He was banned from playing rugby league for fighting in 2018, and received a huge 10-year ban at the age of 44.
He took part in a Legends of League tournament in 2018, as the competition didn't come under the jurisdiction of New South Wales Rugby League. In his latest crazy act he turned up to the tournament in a rubber glove, parodying the 2001 finger incident.
