'Not too keen on footie, but very keen on women': ITV Corrie beauty flies the flag in England bikini top at Manchester Pride

Coronation Street star Kimberly Hart-Simpson wowed fans as she stepped out at Manchester Pride in an England football crest bikini. Kimberly wore Three Lions on her top as she struck a pose at the festival.

She teamed her bikini top with a pair of baggy silver tracksuit pants bought from the British Heart Foundation and white trainers for a sporty look. The actress, who plays Nicky Wheatley in the soap, wore her blonde hair pulled back into a long plait.

"Not too keen on footie, but very keen on women," she captioned photos shared on her Instagram as she wished her followers a 'Happy Pride.' The flame emojis came pouring in as Jack James Ryan, who plays Weatherfield's Jacob Hay, complimented: "Far too peng."

martywags said: "Stunning Kimberly." And dannybantam said: "Can certainly can rock the sporty look." Kimberly, who is also a businesswoman and a dab hand as a seamstress, is known for snapping up a good charity shop bargain and reworking and upcycling her finds. She has seen her sustainable brand Hart-Work launched in Urban Outfitters.

Ahead of her appearance on Celebs Go Dating in 2021 Kimberly announced that she is pansexual, meaning not limited in sexual choice with regard to biological sex, gender, or gender identity. Also known as omnisexual, it refers to the sexual, romantic or emotional attraction towards people.

"I have dated people who are male, female, transgender…” she told the Mirror. "Gender is completely irrelevant to me. We're all on different spectrums. There are many qualities about me I would deem just as much male as female. It's about the person, not what sex they were born. I just fancy everybody."

Kimberly met her ex-boyfriend, Shane Finlayson, on Celebs Go Dating. The couple had been dating for six months before they split with Kimberly saying the long-distance and Covid-19 restrictions meant that it was hard to maintain the relationship.

She said on Instagram at the time: "We are proud of our journey and respect each other immensely. The show has been the best experience. Our journey after that, even better, but with the distance between us, work commitments and restrictions can naturally take its toll."

She returned to our screens as former sex worker Nicky earlier this year after making her debut in 2020. After leaving for a better life with her daughter Maisie, Nicky returned to the street to get a job as a teaching assistant at the same school as her former love interest Daniel.

The friends first met when, struggling over the death of his wife Sinead, Daniel ended up paying Nicky to wear her clothes. Their close friendship caused a rift between Daniel and his girlfriend Daisy Midgeley.

Then Daniel gave the mother and daughter a place to live after pupil Max Turner leaked photos of her from her past work and she lost her job. When Nicky told Daniel how she really felt and that they'd be good together he let her down gently and revealed that he still had feelings for Daisy.

After moving out of Daniel's flat in May, she was back on the street in July as she bonded with his half brother Peter Barlow. Heading to the police station to pick up a fare taxi driver Peter was surprised to see Nicky had been arrested for no reason. The pair vented their annoyance together and shared a common interest over their contempt for authority trampling over the little man.
