Norway fans take over Times Square with Viking row

Thousands of Norwegian football fans gathered in New York's Times Square on Sunday ahead of Norway's Group I match against Senegal.

Supporters dressed in Norway's national colours filled the famous square, chanting, singing and rowing in unison as they built anticipation for Monday night's game.

A fan wearing a Viking helmet led several chants while crowds joined in, creating a lively atmosphere in the heart of Manhattan.

The gathering turned one of New York's busiest landmarks into a sea of red, white and blue as fans celebrated their team's promising start to the tournament.
