Northvolt Sweden

Northvolt recently announced a plan to transform a closed paper mill in Sweden into a new manufacturing plant for cathode active materials and battery cells.

The company signed a letter of intent with Stora Enso regarding the purchase of the Kvarnsveden Mill and the surrounding industrial area in Borlänge, Sweden.
