Battery maker Northvolt has filed for bankruptcy in Sweden, following failed talks with investors over a potential rescue package.

Northvolt was Europe’s best-funded startup company after being founded in 2016, as the continent sought to reduce reliance on Chinese batteries for electric vehicles.
