A Glasgow student was left speechless after capturing stunning snaps of the Northern Lights in Glasgow.
Amateur photographer Danny, who studies at the University of Glasgow, caught the Aurora in the north of the city.
“First time ever seeing the northern lights,” Danny wrote on Twitter.
“In Maryhill, Glasgow as well,” he added in disbelief.
Danny, a student of history and archaeology, took the pictures on Sunday night and has had quite a reaction to his photographs online.

It comes after lucky skygazers were advised that aurora sightings may be possible above Scotland's skies by The Met Office Space Weather Operations Centre (MOSWOC).
On Friday they tweeted: "Satellite images show a CME leaving the sun yesterday, which could produce minor/moderate geomagnetic storms on 13 or 14 March, with aurora sightings possible for Scotland and northern England."
