Northern Ireland weather forecast for Friday as sunny intervals expected throughout day

As the end of the month fast approaches, it is hopefully time to say goodbye to the winter weather and welcome the brighter days and longer evenings with open arms.

Although the Met Office has forecasted a few light showers across the country for Friday, February 24, the sun will try to shine through in parts of the country.

A cloudy yet dry end to Thursday will continue into the early hours of the morning.
