Northern Ireland teenager Dale Taylor is reportedly closing in on a new long term contract with Nottingham Forest.
According to Nottinghamshire Live, the 18-year-old striker, who joined the Reds from Linfield in 2020, has agreed a new three-year deal.
Taylor, who helped Forest U18s reach last season’s FA Youth Cup final which they lost to Manchester United, is highly rated at the City Ground.

The talented teen, who made his Northern Ireland debut in a 1-0 friendly win over Lithuania in November, has yet to play for Forest’s first team. But he travelled with Steve Cooper’s first team squad to Fulham last season and was also on the bench in a 5-1 league defeat to Swansea City at the end of April.
After Taylor scored a brilliant goal for the U18s against Leeds United in March, Forest director of professional development Gary Brazil tweeted that the 18-year-old “has the drive and character to go a long way in the game."
Taylor, who joined Forest from Linfield in the summer of 2020, signed his first professional contract for the club in December of that year.
The Reds are currently preparing for life back in the Premiership for the first time in 23 years after securing promotion to the English top-flight via the play-offs.
