Northern Ireland Screen looking for crew to work on 'large scale production' filming this summer

Northern Ireland Screen is on the hunt for talented crew members to join them working for a new "large scale production" preparing to film this summer.

The national screen agency is currently on the lookout for workers in all departments for the new project that will be taking place in July 2023.

Despite there currently being no details of what the development is or who it is for, it is another reflection of the continued success of Northern Ireland's Film and TV industry after a bumper year in 2022.

Reflecting on the past 12 months for the industry, Chief Executive of Northern Ireland Screen Richard Williams said: “The screen landscape in Northern Ireland is broader than ever before. 2022 was a year of building on our successes but also putting plans in place to future-proof the industry and the expansion opportunities.

“A variety of content we supported was celebrated at some of the most prestigious festivals and conferences across the globe and secured coveted industry awards and set social media alight."

Those who are interested in working on the upcoming project this summer should apply for a role by April.

The casting call reads: "A large scale production filming in Northern Ireland from July 2023 requires talented crew in all departments.

"To apply, please email your current CV along with your full contact details and the contact details of two industry referees to br2099ltd@gmail.com with the Job Title that you wish to apply for in the subject line by Friday April 28.

"We are committed to building a culturally and socially diverse workforce and welcome applications from individuals from all groups who are under-represented in the film and TV industry."
