North Korea fires short-range ballistic missile toward the sea in its latest weapons display

Seoul: North Korea launched a short-range ballistic missile toward the sea on Sunday, South Korea's government said, the latest in a recent series of weapons displays by the North.

South Korea's presidential office said the North fired the weapon from its eastern coastal Wonsan area. Seoul held an emergency meeting of the national security council to discuss the launch.
