The Met Office is predicting that conditions in Newcastle will stay mainly dry over the next couple of days.
On Tuesday, the sun is expected to come out and stay out for the majority of the day with little chance of rain. It will become cloudy from about 6pm and temperatures will remain rather chilly throughout the day with highs of just 12°C.
Meanwhile, on Wednesday temperatures will remain at around 11°C throughout the day which is expected to be cloudy and overcast. Looking ahead to the rest of the week, the North East will become increasingly breezy from Wednesday, with rain expected on Friday which will be heavy in places.
