People across the North East should prepare for more rain showers this weekend.
On Saturday morning, outbreaks of rain will move slowly east. The Met Office predict they will become more intermittent through the afternoon, allowing brighter spells to develop for some.
Sunday is expected to be mostly dry with the odd shower. Forecasters predict that the temperature will remain warm, with a maximum high of 22 °C.
