North East weather: An hour-by-hour forecast for Thursday, February 2 and Friday, February 3

The North East will be cloudy and overcast over the next two days.

According to the Met Office, Thursday will begin with cloud and some rain. It will remain quite breezy with a maximum temperature of 11 °C.

Forecasters predict that there will be some brighter spells possible further east but the Pennines are likely to experience rain and drizzle.
