Dublin City Council's new North City Operations Depot in Ballymun is set to open in early 2023, as construction works on the facility enter into its final stages.
The multi-purpose facility in Ballymun is worth an estimated €50million and will free up 16 existing depots, as well as create space for 750 social housing units. The development will include workshops for welding, painting, electrical, carpentry and fleet workshops as well as signage and fleet branding unit.
Independent Councillor for Ballymun Noeleen Reilly has welcomed the new North City depot reaching its final stages. She said: "It is really positive to see the new North City Depot reaching the final stages of completion.
