No seats, no dramas: $30m boost for self-driving cars

Self-driving cars without seats, windows or steering wheels could be manufactured in Australia within the year after a $30.7 million funding boost. 

The National Reconstruction Fund announced its investment in Melbourne-based Applied Electric Vehicles on Wednesday, in a transaction that will make up more than half of the company's Series B funding.
