Nottingham Forest midfielder Orel Mangala has been subject of high praise from the Belgian media.
Mangala and Everton's Amadou Onana were hailed by news outlet Walfoot following Belgium's 3-2 friendly win over Germany in Cologne earlier this week. Both were handed starts by Domenico Tedesco, and were labelled as a "winning association."
Tedesco who was appointed as new head coach in February, may have hit jackpot with the pair in moving forward. The Belgian outlet claim that Mangala delivered an "exceptional first half hour" and "constantly harassed" Germany with his organisational skills.

Furthermore, he "completely muzzled" the hosts with his "monstrous" performance in midfield. The report went on to say: "This Tuesday evening, the Everton player was associated with Orel Mangala. We loved it.
"This association in midfield has brought positive points to all floors. At the end of the defence, for example, the two midfielders bring a crucial, physical impact and have the technical quality necessary to restart properly.
"The constructions and defence exits, in one or even two ball touches, were simply too fast for Germany. In small spaces and under pressure, the 25-year-old player remained calm, made no mistakes and was able to protect the ball with his body before taking advantage of the slightest space to blow the team.
"Domenico Tedesco now knows that he can rely on this duo in the middle."
