No backdown on product names for EU trade deal: farmers

Australian farmers and trade delegates are determined that the ability to use terms such as feta and prosecco won't be abandoned in exchange for increased access to the European market.

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen will meet on the sidelines of Pope Leo XIV's inauguration on Sunday, as free trade negotiations resume in earnest following Donald Trump's tariffs on US trading partners.
