Nissan's Next Nismo Model Will Be a 'Beast' of an SUV

  • The new Nissan Patrol will once again get the Nismo treatment.
  • It will join the Ariya in Nissan's Nismo SUV lineup.
  • The previous-gen Patrol Nismo had a V-8 but its replacement will downsize to a V-6.

In 2015, Nissan did the unthinkable: It launched a Nismo-badged SUV. The Patrol (Armada in the United States) was souped up for the Middle East with extra power and more aggressive styling. The full-size, body-on-frame performance SUV got a facelift in 2021, but we’re hearing the next-gen model will retain the Nismo treatment. And apparently, it'll be a “beast.”
