A popular Liverpool bar has shared the nine red flags customers should be aware of when ordering a drink.
Duke Street-based venue PINS Social Club listed the things it thinks bartenders should never do, including putting their hands around the rim of a glass, leaning on the bar and using a glass to scoop ice. The bar used its TikTok account to share the list of red flags - which were met with mixed views from the app's users.
One video, which has currently been viewed over 2.7m times, showed a bartender using a glass to scoop ice - which was listed as a red flag. Viewers were quick to agree in the comments section, with one person saying: "If the glass breaks, all ice is gone."

Another person agreed and added: "One of the dirtiest places in the bar or restaurant is the ice well." The second red flag in the video was using shot measuring cups or 'jiggers' to measure out spirits - which divided the opinion of TikTok users.
One person said: "If I see a bartender using that measuring thing, I'm out. Nothing like an old school bartender pour...those are real drinks." However, not everyone thought this warranted a spot on the list. Someone else commented: "Measurements is not a bad thing, they could be learning."
In a second video, PINS described leaning on the bar as a red flag - which was also disputed by viewers. One person said: "Let me lean on the bar. We're on our feet for longer than anyone's office job." Another TikTok user commented: "Leave me and my bar leaning alone."
PINS also described bartenders touching the rim of the glass as a red flag - something many TikTok users agreed with in the comments section. One person wrote: "I definitely agree about the hands around the glass." Another TikTok user added: "OMG! The hands on the rim thing! Thank you! A local bartender does that and it bugs me!"
