Nightwish, the iconic Finnish symphonic metal band, is gearing up for the release of their highly anticipated tenth studio album, 'Yesterwynde,' set to debut on September 20, 2024. This album marks a significant milestone for the band, following their 2020 release, 'Human. :II: Nature,' during the peak of the pandemic.
Despite their immense popularity and global fan base, Nightwish surprised many by announcing a hiatus from live performances and touring in 2023. This decision came as the band revealed their intention to focus on releasing 'Yesterwynde' without accompanying it with a tour, a move uncommon in the rock and metal music scenes.
