A British sportwear brand stepped in to help Nigerian athletes who were let down by their original kit supplier just days before the start of the Commonwealth Games.
The Nigerian delegation arrived in the Midlands ready to gun for Commonwealth Games glory over the next 11 days. But a major problem soon emerged as it became clear they were going to be let down by the company due to supply their outfits.
And so they had to scramble to find-a last minute supplier to make sure they could still compete. In stepped Kidderminster firm MG Sportswear, who were approached to manufacture hundreds of pieces of clothing with an extremely tight deadline.
