Nicola Peltz has broken her silence on the rumours of a feud between herself and her mother-in-law Victoria Beckham.
The actress, 27, was rumoured to be embroiled in a fallout with fashion designer Victoria, 48, following her wedding to Brooklyn in April.
Fans had noticed the pair appeared more distant on social media after the lavish nuptials, while it was claimed the row was sparked for a number of reasons from "conflicting cultures" to apparent "tension" between the in-laws.
Now, Nicola has addressed the feud and rumours it began when Nicola didn't wear a Victoria Beckham designed wedding dress for her big day.
Actress Nicola opted for a Valentino number instead.
She has explained she had hoped to wear a Victoria Beckham designed gown but was unable to.
Nicola has told Variety in a joint interview with her husband Brooklyn, 23: "I was going to and I really wanted to, and then a few months down the line, she realised that her atelier couldn’t do it, so then I had to pick another dress.
"She didn’t say you can’t wear it; I didn’t say I didn’t want to wear it. That’s where it started, and then they ran with that".
Meanwhile, Brooklyn insisted things in the fold are fine as he added: "I’ve learned they’re always going to try to write stuff like that.
"They’re always going to try and put people down. But everyone gets along, which is good."
Elsewhere in the interview, the couple discussed their plans to start a family of their own as Brooklyn said: "I keep saying to my wife, I can't wait to be a dad.
"I'm ready to have kids, but I always tell my wife, whenever you want."
Nicola added: "We don't plan on having kids anytime in the next year. But we would love to have a big family one day — we would love to have some of our own, and we would love to adopt."
It comes after actress Nicola shared a cryptic post about being "hurt" by people recently.
She shared a photo of herself crying in bed as fans were left questioning if the post was in reference to her alleged feud with Victoria.
Captioning the post, she said: "Sometimes I find it hard to show the sad bits of me. Growing up with seven siblings and two very strong parents, made me really tough, they hammered it into me to not let people bring me down or hurt my heart.
"It made me put such a wall up to protect myself especially in this industry. We all have days where people make you feel bad and it’s okay to be hurt by it.
"I just thought I would write something because I never show this side of me here. I wanted to show this side of me. I love you all so much and truly appreciate all of your support.
"It means so much when you guys are kind on my page I want you to know i see you, I hear you, and it means a lot to me."
