Our quest to find the greatest old-school Nickelodeon show has been mostly chalk (no slime … yet).
Almost all the top seeds defeated the lower ones in our first round … except for two.
In the Game Show region, No. 4 seed Nick Arcade got taken down by What Would You Do?
And, for me, what happened in the Animation region was kind of a shock: No. 2 seed Ren & Stimpy was steamrolled by Hey Arnold! I consulted with some fans, and it turns out Hey Arnold! had WAY more of a fanbase than I thought. I expected the cat and dog to make it far, but that’s why we do these brackets, right?
