Niall Horan has jokingly called Lewis Capaldi a “cheat” after he planted a kiss on Harry Styles’ lips at the Brit Awards months after giving the Irish singer the same treatment.

Capaldi was seen embracing Styles at the star-studded event on Saturday, which took place at the London O2 Arena and saw Styles win four awards.

The Someone You Loved hitmaker admitted that his bromance with Horan had suffered a setback while on stage during a recent gig on his current European tour.

Holding up his phone to the crowd, he revealed that had received a text message from Horan shortly after Saturday evening’s events.

He explained: “This was after the whole Harry incident. And Niall texted me – so I’ve kissed Harry at around, I don’t know, 11.08pm on Saturday night – and on Sunday afternoon at five o’clock I get a text from Niall Horan that says nothing but the word ‘b***h’.”

He continued: “So I says, ‘what’s up?’ And he said, again just one word, ‘cheat’, and then that’s it. I haven’t heard from him since.”

Insisting he’s still Team Niall, he added: “He’s always going to be my number one.”

However he risked a further ruck when later on in the show he vowed to make a move on another of Horan’s former One Direction bandmates, saying: “I’m going to find you Liam Payne. You’re next, baby.”

Thankfully, he knew when to keep his mouth shut when asked who is the better kisser out of Styles and Horan, telling the crowd: “I will never answer that question.”
