LUCKNOW: Continuing with its crackdown against ISIS modules operating in the country, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Thursday arrested a 19-year-old youth, a member of the proscribed terrorist organisation ISIS after searches at his house and rented accommodation in Uttar Pradesh and Jharkhand. The accused, Faizan Ansari, a student of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) was taken into custody by the NIA.
NIA said that the searches at his house in Lohardaga district of Jharkhand and rented room in Aligarh, were conducted on July 16 and July 17, where several electronic devices and incriminating materials/documents were seized.
