NHS Tayside bosses have marked the Platinum Jubilee with two throwback photos and film of a visit by The Queen.
The black and white images and colour footage show Her Majesty visiting the city's hospital in 1955.
A post on the health board’s Facebook page said: “Congratulations to Her Majesty The Queen on her Platinum Jubilee! #PlatinumJubilee #HM70."
And it added: “We were fortunate to have a visit from The Queen in 1955 when she visited Dundee Royal Infirmary (DRI) to open the new Radio Diagnostic Department.
“The first photo shows The Queen with Dr Davidson, Medical Superintendent.
“Thanks to Tayside Medical History Museum for this photo.”
And they added: “In the second photo, The Queen is accompanied by DRI Matron, Miss Dey, as they pass a line of nurses very smart in their uniforms.
“Prince Philip is also in the photo, walking just behind The Queen.”
The amazing colour footage was unearthed from the University of Dundee Archives.
