As tributes gathered over the weekend, attention also turned to the personal loss behind the headlines: a mother, her children, and a family shattered in a matter of hours.
Pierce lived with her family at a home in the 2100 block of Richard Avenue in White Bear Lake, in Ramsey County. She and her husband, Mike Pierce, shared three children, two sons and a daughter: Hudson, Cayden and Avery.
