It’s been an up-and-down season for the Los Angeles Rams thus far, going 3-4 in their first seven games, with their most recent loss coming to the Pittsburgh Steelers last week. They were favored to win that one, but that’s not the case this week in Dallas.
The Rams are 6.5-point underdogs to the Cowboys and not many experts expect them to win. According to Tallysight, only 12% of experts are picking the Rams to beat the Cowboys this weekend. A good portion of them expect it to be close, though; 58% are taking the Rams to cover the spread and keep it within a touchdown.
As for the over/under, it’s a near-even split: 51% are taking the over and 49% are picking the under, with the line set at 45.5 points.
This is a tough matchup for the Rams, who are on the road in the early kickoff window against a team that’s coming off a bye. They just lost to the Steelers last week after they were coming off their bye, which dropped Sean McVay’s record to 3-4 against teams after their week off.
Can the Rams pull off the road upset against Dallas or will they drop their second straight game?
