The Detroit Lions have released cornerback Terrion Arnold, just hours after a Florida judge ruled the NFL player could be released from custody following a pre-trial detention hearing in Tampa. It was confirmed by the team on 29 June.
The decision came only hours after the hearing, where the court allowed the 22-year-old to leave jail while awaiting trial. Arnold had been held without bond since voluntarily surrendering to authorities in Florida on 24 June.
